Our Community

LootLizard is a community for metal detecting enthusiasts to share their finds, document their hunts, and connect with fellow detectorists. We are committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for everyone.

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are not allowed on LootLizard:

• Hate speech — Content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Harassment — Targeted abuse, threats, intimidation, or content intended to degrade or shame another person
• Explicit or NSFW content — Sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or other content not suitable for a general audience
• Spam — Repetitive, unsolicited, or misleading content, including commercial promotions unrelated to metal detecting
• Illegal activity — Content that promotes, encourages, or depicts illegal activities, including trespassing, theft, or the sale of stolen goods
• Impersonation — Pretending to be another person, brand, or organization in a misleading way
• Doxxing — Sharing another person's private information (address, phone number, real name, etc.) without their consent

Prohibited Behavior

The following behaviors are not tolerated:

• Bullying — Repeated aggressive behavior intended to intimidate or harm another user
• Stalking — Unwanted, persistent contact or monitoring of another user's activity
• Exploiting minors — Any content or behavior that endangers, exploits, or is inappropriate toward minors
• Circumventing bans — Creating new accounts or using other methods to evade enforcement actions
• Creating multiple accounts — Operating more than one account to manipulate features, evade limits, or deceive other users

Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it:

• Tap the three-dot menu on any post, comment, or profile
• Select Report
• Choose the reason that best describes the violation

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. You can also contact us directly at support@lootlizard.app.

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in the following actions, depending on severity:

1. Warning — A notification that your content or behavior violates our guidelines
2. Content removal — The offending content is removed from the platform
3. Temporary suspension — Your account is temporarily restricted from posting or interacting
4. Permanent ban — Your account is permanently removed from LootLizard

We reserve the right to skip steps for severe violations, including but not limited to threats of violence, exploitation of minors, or illegal activity.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal by emailing support@lootlizard.app with your username and a description of the situation. We will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
